Family Entertainment Group (FEG) is committed to giving back to the communities they serve. Recently FEG had the opportunity to work with Give Kids The World and other industry partners to help to give the Amberville Arcade at the Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, Florida a new look with great new games and fun experiences.

Beyond just being the best, newest games, the revitalization sought to provide attractions that accommodated individuals with special needs so they could interact and enjoy the arcade as well. Some games were chosen specifically to accommodate family play and for those who may have mobility challenges.

In addition to Family Entertainment Group, other industry leading companies contributed to these efforts including Beston Enterprises, Stern Pinball, Innovative Concepts in Entertainment, Team Play Inc., Bay Tek, Raw Thrills, Apple Industries, GameTime, and Sega Amusements.

FEG is fortunate to have such generous and kind peers in the amusement industry, says Lisa Price, VP of Merchandise, “We have been coming to and donating equipment to the village for just over 10 years, but this year was really something special, everyone went above and beyond.”

George Smith CEO & President for Family Entertainment Group organized the initiative together with the industry partner companies and each one of them really put their heart into it. New games included two new Iceball Lanes, Rock the Rim Basketball and a Sonic Basketball, a TMNT Pinball Machine, a Photo Motion Kid Ride, two Cruis’n Blast Race driving games in addition to FireRocker, previously donated by GameTime, which is the first-ever American manufactured kiddie ride to easily accommodate wheelchair riders.

Give Kids The World Village is an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that provides week-long, cost-free wish vacations to critically ill children and their families from around the world who want to visit Central Florida.

A stay at the Village is much more than a vacation. During one incredible week, wish families laugh, play, and create priceless memories together away from hospital visits and medical procedures. It’s a magical week of “YES” where wish kids can experience the simple joys of childhood, and where families can recapture some of the precious moments that may have been missed due to illness.

Since 1986, Give Kids The World Village has welcomed more than 187,000 families from all 50 states and 76 countries. The Village is made possible by the support of generous donors and community partners, as well as thousands of passionate volunteers – who donate their time and talent making wishes come true.

Completed in early 2023, the renovations have already garnered rave reviews from the families visiting Give Kids The World. At a place where everything is focused on creating happy memories from ice cream for breakfast, to carousels and a wheel-chair accessible pool, the Amberville Arcade has already become a favorite guest experience.

Here is some of the recent feedback provided by the village, so that all of the donors can see what a great impact their games are already having on the families visiting the village!
