While Family Entertainment Group (FEG) has been focused on the business of fun since 2004, we are also very focused on helping others through the time and efforts of our team members located throughout the country.

It’s one thing to say that an organization “cares” and another to live it.

Family Entertainment Group’s charitable initiatives are driven by an internal program called FEGKind.  FEGKind is a voluntary program inspired and serviced by FEG’s team members that was created to share successes, give hope, pay it forward, and ultimately allow team members to give back to the communities they serve through their donations, time and passions.

FEGKind activities are ongoing and diverse.  One of the keys to generating interest throughout FEG is the ability for any team member with a passion to suggest their worthy cause to be the focus of an FEGKind initiative.

Whether it is a donation of time, money or the use of resources to those in need, FEGKind comes through time and time again.  Within the past year FEG, its employees and locations have all been a part of giving back.

Here are just a few examples:

Funtrackers Family Fun Center in Corpus Christi, Texas donated time in its Batting Range to a local wheel chair baseball team.

The Kalahari Resorts Sandusky team participated in an event sponsored by Kick-It for kids with cancer, donating their time and raising much needed funds.

FEG team members have also volunteered their time at Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, Florida.  Other efforts throughout the year have benefited veterans, the homeless, and Scouts.

This summer, FEG team members in Cleveland, Ohio and at the corporate office in Itasca, Illinois including George Smith, President of FEG, packed dozens of backpacks with personal care items and toys to be provided free to foster children in each of those areas.

As the program continues to grow and expand, FEG hopes to touch the lives of even more people, not just through the games and attractions we own and operate, but also from the compassion and enthusiasm of the individuals that make Family Entertainment Group a great company that is striving to make a positive impact on its team members, its businesses, and the markets we serve.
