Family Entertainment Group (“FEG”) would like to proudly highlight their Annual Thanksgiving ‘Give Back Meal,’ that took place on Tuesday, November 20th, 2018.
Bonkers has been in Peabody, Massachusetts for more than 50 years. Their mission has been focused on giving an experience of family-friendly fun to all families, but this Thanksgiving, they wanted to give a little more.
Bonkers Peabody extended the invite to the families impacted by the Columbia Gas Disaster. Many of the families are currently living in temporary housing organized through Citizens Inn in Peabody, MA. Karl’s Sausage Kitchen and European Market donated food for the families, and NRT Transportation donated buses to shuttle families to and from Bonkers.
Bonkers’ head chef and team cooked five 20-pound turkeys, corn, gravy, mashed potatoes, hot dogs for the children, and more! Bonkers also provided free attraction rides and provided game cards for the children as well. Bonkers did not just give the families a meal, they gave them a memory.
Lauren Rotondi, Marketing and Sales Manager of this location, says, “We had so much food left over, the families were able to take leftovers home! Everyone had a great time and overall there was an amazing turnout.”
Bonkers Peabody looks forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come and are thankful for the help to make this a success.
